E-Referral Service
The NHS e-referral Service allows NHS patients to access medical treatment from a wide range of hospitals and clinics within both the private and public sector.
The Government initiative enables patients and their GP’s to decide which specialist is best for their individual needs.
The patient can not only select a convenient place of treatment but also an acceptable date and time.
NHS patients treated within the private sector can expect the same standard of care that a fee-paying private patient would expect. They will have use of the same facilities and will not be charged for consultations or treatment.
